6月19日上午，一场别开生面的“媒体行”在莱芜市救助管理站开展，莱芜多家媒体记者及凤城慈善救助公益中心的志愿者参观莱芜市救助管理站，号召市民为流浪乞讨人员奉献爱心传递温暖。
上午9点30分，莱芜市救助管理站一楼大厅内，站长亓兴武向前来参观的多家媒体记者及数十位志愿者介绍近年来对流浪乞讨人员的救助情况，讲述了为失忆女孩找家人、收容流浪人员的相关事例。
活动参与者参观了救助管理站的硬件设施，如餐厅、宿舍及活动室等。在救助管理站宿舍内，整洁的床铺给参观者留下了深刻印象;活动室内，几位老人坐在桌前津津有味地看着电视;餐厅内，负责备饭的阿姨正在准备肉、菜等;儿童室内，还贴心地准备了课桌椅，为受家暴儿童提供避风港湾。
参观结束后，莱芜市救助管理站与凤城慈善救助公益中心签署合作共建协议，让公益组织的志愿者提供流浪乞讨人员的相关信息给救助站，帮助流浪乞讨人员及时获得救助，并委托公益组织志愿者对送回家的流浪乞讨人员定期进行回访，为流浪乞讨人员提供服务，契合阳光救助的宗旨。
莱芜市凤城慈善救助公益中心管理者李宝坤表示：“这5年来，凤城公益共有5000多爱心人士参与，希望通过这次签订协议，让爱心人士口口相传，让更多人传播爱心救助活动。也希望网友通过动动手指发布朋友圈，让发现难、寻亲难的情况得到有效解决，让被救助人员感受到社会大家庭的温暖。”
对此次媒体开放日活动，亓兴武说：“本次活动主要目的是让社会爱心人士来到救助站，实地了解救助情况，从而理解并支持救助工作，下一步，我们希望通过救助开放日的主题活动，促进阳光救助，把救助工作做得更好。”
据了解，莱芜救助管理站将对符合以下条件的人员给予临时性救助：自身无力解决食宿、无亲友投靠、不享受城市最低生活保障或农村五保供养、正在流浪乞讨度日的人员。
救助的内容包括：提供符合卫生要求的食物、提供符合基本条件的住宿、对在站内突发疾病的及时送医院救治、帮助与其亲属或所在单位联系、对没有交通费返回其住所地或所在单位的，提供乘车凭证。
救助管理站本着自愿受助、无偿救助原则，为生活无着的流浪乞讨人员提供救助。莱芜市民如发现流浪乞讨人员可拨打救助电话：0634-5901670(24小时热线)或拨打110。
